Belinda Knisley booked on charges, Peters turns herself in

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Belinda Knisley has turned herself into the Mesa County Detention Facility. Knisley was booked on the six charges from District Attorney Dan Rubenstein’s indictment, including four felony charges.

Knisley is accused of attempting to influence Jessi Romero of the Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s Office, David Underwood of Mesa County, and Stephanie Wenholtz of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder’s Office. She’s also facing charges of Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Impersonation, Violation of Duty, and Failure to Comply with Requirements of Secretary of State.

Tina Peters has also turned herself in, but no booking photo has been released at this time.
