Boston Red Sox are Rescheduling their White House Visit

The partial government shutdown is slightly affecting Major League Baseball, the Boston Red Sox say due to shutdown they are rescheduling their White House visit.

The Red Sox are moving their visit to the nation’s capital and the White House to May 9th, when the team is in Baltimore.  The World Series Champions originally scheduled their trip on February 15th at the beginning of spring training, but due to the federal government shutdown they’ve postponed it until after a May regular-season series against the Orioles.
