CC Sabathia pitched his final game in his MLB career

It’s an end of an era.  New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia pitched his final game in his major league baseball career.

Sabathia came in for a relief in the 8th inning of game 4 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros.  After getting a couple of outs, and giving up an unearned run, Sabathia left the game with a left shoulder injury.  The Yankees removed Sabathia from their roster on Friday and replaced him with Ben Heller.  This move makes Sabathia ineligible to pitch in the World Series should the Yankees advance past the Astros.
