Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen has died
Bowlen was 75 years old and had been battling Alzheimer’s disease. Bowlen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in February. He had been the Broncos’ owner since 1984. During his time as the owner of the Broncos, his teams won 3 Super Bowls and 7 AFC championships. In 2014, Bowlen turned over control of the team to Broncos President Joe Ellis, when he announced he had Alzheimer’s Disease.
