Wednesday, January 20, 2021 – VBC Fresno Channels OFF-AIR (1/18-1/20) update

PG&E has restored power to our Meadow Lakes transmitter site and all channels are now back on-air.  If you are unable to receive channels 4, 13, or 31, please re-scan your television.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DUE TO TECHNICAL ISSUES RELATED TO THIS WEEK’S POWER OUTAGE, WE ARE RUNNING CHANNEL 4 AT LOW POWER UNTIL REPAIRS CAN BE MADE.  SOME VIEWERS MAY EXPERIENCE DIFFICULTY IN RECEIVING THIS CHANNEL.

We apologize for any inconvenience.  Thank you.

FRESNO PROGRAMMING NOTICE:

Effective January 1, 2021, NewsMax will no longer air on KVBC Channel 13.10.  NewsMax cancelled their contract with Ventura Broadcasting Company.  This was not our decision.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact NewsMax directly at (800) 485-4350, (646) 616-3366 or NewsmaxTV.Com.

KNOWN ISSUES: CENTRAL CALIFORNIA

VBC viewers in the South Valley may be unable to tune in to KVBC Channel 13 due to signal conflicts with Bakersfield’s new high-powered Univision Station.  Viewers are encouraged to call Univision in Bakersfield at (661) 324-0031 to express their disappointment and request that their signal be adjusted so as not to disrupt the KVBC 13 signal in the South Valley.
