GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — On Friday, June 24, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., the City of Glenwood Springs will host its First Annual Pride Celebration at Bethel Plaza (704 Grand Ave, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601). Live music performances, family-friendly events, local drag shows at 6:30 p.m., and snacks and drinks discounts from local downtown businesses will all be part of the Pride Celebration. For the event, Seventh Street will be blocked from Colorado Avenue to Cooper Avenue at noon. Participation is open to people of all ages and abilities.
Glenwood Springs’ community and inclusion are being celebrated at this Pride celebration. Everyone is invited to participate. Come dressed in rainbows and prepared to honor our LGBTQIA+ community.
Following the event, AspenOUT will host a 21+ safe space event from 8 p.m. to midnight at Bluebird Café.
