Judge Approves Changes to Harvey Weinstein’s Legal Team

Disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein now has a new legal team after a judge approved the change.

Weinstein is accused of raping a woman in a New York hotel room in 2013 and forcing another woman to perform a sexual act at his manhattan apartment in 2006.

He faces five felony charges including predatory sexual assaults, first-degree rape, and third-degree rape.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Up until recently, former Casey Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez represented Weinstein.

However, Baez expressed that he and Weinstein did not get along and wanted out of the case.

Now, a judge has approved a change to the legal team, allowing Weinstein to bring in Donna Rotunno and Damon Chernois.

Rotunno specializes in defending men accused of sex crimes.

Weinstein’s trial is slated for September 9th.
