GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — When locals hit the slopes at Powderhorn Ski Resort, they don’t just come to ski and board, they come for the people, atmosphere, and the live entertainment.
A musical duo by the name of ‘The Low End’ accompanied by John Brown made the trip to the ski resort to play for local riders on the Western Slope. There is a tight knit musical community in the Grand Valley, and these three musicians have a big role in it.
John Brown is involved in eight different musical groups across the Western Slope, playing everything from rock, to reggae and alternative. We spoke with the music group about their experiences, and they say its not just about the music! It’s about the people that you meet along the journey. For more information on the band’s future events, head over to their Facebook page.
