More than 800 Cases of Ebola Reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Ebola cases surpassed 800 in Democratic Republic of Congo with more than 500 deaths

That is according to the country’s health ministry Saturday.

No countries bordering the DRC have reported any ebola cases as of now, according to the World Health Organization.

But as part of preventative measures, health workers and other front-line responders in neighboring South Sudan began getting vaccinated in late January.

The outbreak started back in August of last year.
