Nats Decide Not to Receive WS Rings during a Virtual Ceremony

The defending World Series champions, the Washington Nationals say they want to wait to their championship rings.

The Nationals have canceled their plans for a virtual world series ring ceremony.  They say their players decided they would rather receive their rings in person, while re-uniting with their teammates.  The Nats were going to give out the rings during a virtual World Series ring ceremony this Sunday, shown on television and online.  They still plan to unveil the design of the ring on Sunday and hold a fundraiser to support two local food banks.  The champs are also showing their documentary of their 2019 World Series run called “Improbable.”
