Pacers All-Star Guard Victor Oladipo Out for the Year

There is bad news for the Indiana Pacers, they will have to play the rest of the way without their All-Star Guard Victor Oladipo.

The Pacers say Oladipo sustained a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee and will miss the remainder of the season.  He injured his right knee Wednesday night when the Pacers played the Toronto Raptors.  The play happened around 4 minutes to go in the first half, Oladipo was chasing down a long pass going to the Raptors’ Pascal Siakam when his leg appeared to buckle.  An MRI was taken on Thursday revealing the scope of the injury, and Oladipo will undergo surgery at a date to be determined.  Oladipo leads the Pacers with 18.8 points per game and is 2nd on the team in assists with 5.2 per game.
