Student Finds Five-Thousand-Year-Old Sword

A five-thousand-year-old sword was discovered by an Italian archaeology student.

She was visiting the Saint Lazarus Monastery in 2017, when she noticed the metal sword, it was labeled as a medieval artifact.

However, it resembled those she came across in her studies as a bronze age weaponry specialist.

She suspected it was much older, and guess what she was right!

After two years worth of research, it’s confirmed the sword is one of the most ancient ones ever found.

This dates back as far as five-thousand years ago.

This sword now has its very own display in Venice.
