Ten Injured After Metro Train Derails in Boston

Ten people were taken to the hospital after a train derailed in Boston.

It happened in a tunnel near Kenmore Station, which is close to Fenway Park.

The train is operated by Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and is part of the city’s rapid transit system.

Some of the victims had to be carried out in stretchers, however, none of them sustained injuries that are considered life-threatening.

Around 150 others on board the train had to be evacuated through the tunnel.

Service in the area was also disrupted, with 500 more people being taken off trains following the incident.

The MBTA says they are now working with state and federal officials to investigate the cause of the derailment.
