Tiger Woods briefly addressed the wrongful death lawsuit, he is facing.
Woods remained stone-faced, but expressed sadness when asked about a former employee who died in December. 24-year-old Nicholas Immesberger died in a car crash. He was a bartender at the golfer’s florida restaurant, “The Woods.” A police report of the incident says he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and no alcohol use was suspected, but his parents have filed a lawsuit against Woods, saying Immesberger was served drinks at the restaurant after his shift was over.
The lawsuit says Woods and the restaurant’s manager knew Immesberger was an alcoholic, and he should not have been served alcohol.
