In the Big Ten, there may have been a mix up of information. One Big Ten official was caught on camera saying the conference will make a decision on the season on Tuesday, but another official says not yet.
The University of Nebraska System President Ted Carter was caught speaking to Bob Hinson, Director of the National Strategic Research Institute about the possible Tuesday decision. Carter says the comment was taken out of context. The University of Wisconsin Chancellor Rebecca Blank went onto say Big Ten football will remain on hold until there are answers to questions about COVID-19 testing and tracing, along with possible long-term heart issues related to the coronavirus. Blank said once their concerns addressed, then they will try to plan a delayed season.
